FIREWORKS:    The shooting, firing or in any way discharging any item of fireworks within the City shall be permitted from July 1st to July 7 no later than 11:00 p.m. Sun-Thurs. and Midnight Friday and Saturday.


Marionville is a charming community located in the heart of the Ozarks in Lawrence County, Southwest Missouri. Marionville has a population of white squirrels, which is one of a handful of such populations in the United States.

Visitors come to Marionville in hopes of catching a glimpse of our white squirrels. The totally white creatures roam the yards and are protected by City law. The squirrels have been here, reportedly since the late 1800's.
